We're here to support you during the outbreak
We’re currently paying close attention to information from the NHS and UK government regarding the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
South Manchester Credit Union aims to deliver excellence in financial services to our local community.
Our response is to focus on maintaining our service levels as high as possible for as long as we can and to keep mindful of the health of all credit union members, volunteers, directors and staff. We want to stay well together and seek collective action that supports our communities.
We will issue weekly updates regarding accessibility of our services until this crisis has passed.

27th March 2020 update
As the world continues to fight COVID-19 we want to carry on doing our part to support our community and keep each other safe.
Our staff team will now be working from home with ordinary working patterns to provide our usual standard of service.
We want to thank all of our members for keeping their nerve during this unpredictable time. We remain hopeful for the future and we’re looking forward to calmer waters.
23rd March 2020 update
In the interest of public welfare, we’ve decided to close 187 Fog Lane to the public until further notice.
Although we cannot have face to face contact with members, the staff team at 187 Fog Lane are continuing with ordinary working patterns.
18th March 2020 update
Our AGM will be postponed until we are confident that everyone who attends will be safe from the virus.
17th March 2020 update
In the interest of public welfare, we’ve decided to reduce opening hours at 187 Fog Lane. We are open to the public for 3 hours a day for the rest of this week. The staff team will continue with ordinary working patterns.
