From the 25th October – 4th January, Skate Manchester is back, transforming Cathedral Gardens into a fully weatherproof ice rink!

Keep an eye out for the different themed nights!

This winter, Skate Manchester is making the ice more accessible than ever with a host of special offers and community sessions.

Students can enjoy 20% off tickets or skate every Wednesday evening for just £12 including a drink. Parents and their children can share magical weekday afternoons together in Parent & Mini Skater sessions for only £15. 

Mondays are all about giving back. Community groups and youth clubs are invited to take over the rink for just £5 per person, and Blue Light card holders can also enjoy 20% off.

The iconic Manchester Christmas Markets are a must-visit for families seeking a classically Christmas atmosphere.

Stroll through the festive stalls, indulge in seasonal treats, and discover unique gifts that make for a perfect Christmas shopping experience.

Kids will love the enchanting decorations and the chance to meet Santa Claus himself!

All the family can share their Christmas wishes with Santa Claus by visiting all of the Santa’s Grottos dotted across Manchester.

Each grotto offers a magical encounter with Santa, many festive activities, and the chance to capture that perfect holiday photo.

Why not let the family share their excitement and holiday dreams with the man in red. Locations include Tatton Park Farm, The Trafford Centre, Kargo MKT and bar hutte après ski bar!

Immerse yourself in the joyous sounds of Christmas carols at Wythenshawe Park.

Sing along with the community on the 7th of December from 1pm to 2pm.

The beautiful setting of Wythenshawe Hall adds a unique charm to this festive event, making it a heart-warming family activity.

5. Dunham Massey Light Trail

Fancy a walk? Get lost in the magic at the Dunham Massey Light Trail.

The trail is illuminated by lights, giant glowing deer, glowing batons of light and tunnels of stars. It is truly magic.

The event runs from the 14th of November to 3rd of January.
